Trunk or Treat

Image
Jax was Rocky Balboa (these first 2 pics are the only ones in which he wears the Rocky jacket! I was trying to give him a black eye, but one stripe was all he allowed me to do. Ro was a puppy dog! A puppy with a pacifier for most of the night! Sasa is climbing up the slide with Jax. She was a good sport! He loved all the scary stuff...hugged the witch, touched the skeletons - he's definitely his daddy's son! I couldn't get him to change the boots or the clothes underneath the costume! Well I could have, but it would have involved physicall holding him down and lots of tears. I like a happy Rocky much better.

Death by Disney

Okay, well that is a bit of an exaggeration. But it was a 100% physical wipe out. I feel like some of my college students in their 8:00 classes after partying all night. Was it magical? YES! Was it memorable? YES! Was it fun? YES! Am I glad to be home? YES! Jax really did have fun. He loved riding rides the most. His favorite rides were Woody Woodpecker roller coaster and ET at Universal Studios, Goofy's Barnstormer rollercoaster, Haunted Mansion, Peter Pan & Mad Tea Cups at Disney. But he really loved all the rides. He would say " ADIN. ADIN. ADIN." when it was over...sometimes followed by a fit (hollering, holding on to the rails, crying, hitting). Yeah, the not so fun part of disney. But overall, it was very magical! There are a few pictures of Jax boxing the buoy at Typhoon Lagoon...better than boxing another kid....and he floated down the slide all by himself! The youngest one doing it alone. He dressed as Rocky Balboa for the Mickey's Not So Scary Halloween....
