Video . . . It's long!!

I wanted to finish this in time to play at his birthday party. Little did I know, I would be such a perfectionist that it would take me months to finish this. John told me that no one would watch this because it is . . . . 23 MINUTES LONG!!! I refuse to apologize for the length, I just couldn't cut anything. So wait until you have some free time on your hands; turn up the volume because it is no good without the music. And grab your tissues, I can't be the only emotional disaster out there. Photo and video editing at www.OneTrueMedia.com **And please read the next blog. Please email me if you want to continue to be able to check this blog!!! John is laughing at me because no one has emailed me yet. He said, "You just THOUGHT people read all of your nonsense!!"

GOING PRIVATE soon!!!!!

Okay, I love being able to keep everyone up to date on what's new in Jax' life. However, there have been some recent incidents with fellow bloggers that make me very uncomfortable. There are two other bloggers that I know of that are going private over some inappropriate comments left on a blog. Anyway, I have a comment on my last blog from someone and it must be inappropriate because my worksite blocked the blog and I cannot open it due to pornography. Now, please understand that I know there are a lot of people out here that read my blog and don't leave comments. This is not in any way to restrict you guys that are truly interested. I've been "unprivate" for almost a year now, and it has not been a concern until now. I want you to continue to be able to check it if you are interested as long as you are NOT a psycho. Some of you that I know keep up with this blog are simply blogger friends, friends of friends, family, friends of family, church friends, and co...

Better Late than Never . . . 1 year old pictures!

Image
Lately, Jax has gotten pretty stubborn about trying to feed himself with the spoon. I finally gave up and let him go at it! Of course, he made a HUGE mess. He eventually gave up the spoon and used his hands. Then, he decided to eat straight from the bowl. Then he decided to share what was left with Charlie. Jax had his 1 year old pictures done at Portrait Innovations. Here are some from the CD that we got with our package. He was very MOBILE, so I was amazed that we got any good ones. Click here to see the full set . . . Jax in action!

Just A Swingin'

X "There is a little boy in my neighborhood. His name is Jax Wilson and he's really lookin good. I had to go and see him. So I called him on the phone. I walked over to his house and this was going on . . . Just a swingin . . ." W Okay, so the old John Anderson song got stuck in my head when I posted these pictures and as silly as it was, I had to post the lyrics just to get them out of my head. Now maybe you'll be singing it all day instead of me. John and I decided to buy replacement parts for my old swing for Jax' birthday. I am convinced that mine and Karen's old swings are buried under ground with the grass now grown over them. Anyway, we put up the new swings this past weekend and Jax LOVED it! We got two regular swings and this infant swing with the package. Unfortunately it was so windy, that we couldn't stay out for very long. And, it looks like I'm not the only one that loves cowboys here . . . . A little hard to see, but Charlie is sle...

A Cowboy at Heart

Image
Well, it's no secret that Jax is crazy about his Grandaddy. So it is no surprise that he has also developed an interest in hats. This has been developing for quite some time as we would watch him try to put on a hat, and miss his head completely. However, once he got it right . . . these cowboys melted momma's heart! I am totally amazed that this boy, who pulls off the beanie hats that keep his ears warm in no time, will voluntarily walk around with this hat on for hours. It is so funny! I've come home from work a couple of days this week to be greeted by my own heart-melting cowboy. Does it get any better than that?? . Jax likes to play on the couch as soon as we get home from work - He wants to be tickeld and try to get away! This is the blanket John was wrapping him up with while we were playing. Round 2 of Belly Pics begins . . . I can't believe that I started them this early, but I just popped so soon! In fact, I remember thinking, John is going to SEE that I...

Priceless Yep, Jax is going to be a big brother!!! I'm 7 1/2 weeks pregnant and due September 23rd. We are excited! I will post pictures of my first ultrasound next week, but we've seen the baby and a heartbeat . . . 159 . . .right around what Jax' was the first appointment. I found out on January 10th, but kept it a secret from John until the 21st. I was waiting on this book to come in . . . Here is how "we" (Jax and I) told him. . . http://preview.picaboo.com/Webview/CoverPage.aspx?album=00000000000183A449&user=000000000000846C22

Superbowl weekend

Image
It was great to be able to go outside on Saturday with Jax. It was still windy, but certainly warmer! You can see his long eyelashes here! He was running from Alexa . . . Yes, this could be a problem . . . we've never turned it on with him . . . we just use our central heat. Pushing Alexa on one of his cars. Why our house stays a WRECK . . . Anytime I try to organize things, he destroys it! I guess he didn't like all of his stuffed animals riding his John Deere. So one by one . . . He got rid of them! John and his brother-in-law built a LONG AWAITED for movie shelf this weekend. The stained the wood Friday night, and built the shelf Saturday. It looks great, and I am thrilled to finally have these all in one neat organized place. It took a LONG time Sunday to get them alphabetized and put up. The Superbowl was really exciting this year. Jax had been in the bed for a while when our screams woke him up! Poor thing . . .but he did get to celebrate the end of the game...
