I went to the doctor for my check-up on Friday morning. I had to do my glucose test. There was a mixup with my appointment though. Apparently they had written me down on the books for last week, but I wasn't supposed to come until this week. The only problem . . . my doctor was off. He was behind the desk in shorts, taking care of some paperwork before he left. He is the BEST doctor ever! He said, no worries . . . let me do my glucose test and then said ... how about a 4D ultrasound?? So here are some pictures below of our little man: I have gained a total of 8 lbs. My blood pressure was great. Still having very minimal swelling (until the drive to Jackson later that day). But I failed my glucose test. So now I have to go back in to do the long 3 hour test in two weeks. I was telling my sister that I had eaten healthy the day before, so I'm not sure why I failed. She laughed when I gave her my menu for the previous . . . 2 LOW FAT poptarts for breakfast, 2 packs of 100 ...

Rehearsal Dinner night: Jaime and me Me and John So we went to Jackson for the wedding this weekend. Everything was so nice! Friday we had rehearsal and rehearsal dinner at the Capitol Club. Then we all went back to Wes and Jaime's for the night. Saturday, the guys spent the day together. I went to the mall, all by myself, which was so nice!! Then Jaime and I went to Hooter's for lunch. Then we went in the POURING down rain to Bop's for dessert. I go...

No, I didn't get a diamond to go on my finger, but I got one that is sending me to a beautiful beach and resort!!!! I am so proud of John! We've known for a while that he made the "hard number" for President's club...whatever all of that means. But Monday, we were told that he had made the Diamond Level . That means that he is in the top 5% of his company for sales, and the only one at his location to receive this recognition. I was so excited for him, and so proud of this accomplishment. We'll get an extra day in the Bahamas because he made this level as well. The trip will be here before we know it! Well, he's not ripped yet . . . but don't you think he will be if he keeps this up?? The funniest thing is him mocking the sound that John makes when he's lifting. We had a great relaxing weekend. Jax made to bed on TIME every single night! Yay!! We had pizza and watched a movie Friday night. Saturday we took some stray kittens to the vet, grabbed a burger for lunch, swam, and got Mexican take out for dinner. Sunday morning I taught class, then we went to Walmart and got groceries. John's family came over for lunch and we swam some more. So we basically spent a whole weekend swimming and eating. I also made a tiny bit of progress in the cleaning out for baby process. I think I'm going to add a tracker to this blog so I can make myself accountable for something every day. Yep, I'm nesting. And I have been for months!
