Guess who's 1!!!!!!!!!!!!
These first pictures are from the actual day of Jax' birthday. His Daddy came in the door from work with a cupcake with a candle lit! Jax had NEVER had chocolate before. He loved it, of course (he is his momma's boy)!
His birthday party was Saturday the 12th. We just invited immediate family. I think everyone had a great time!
My cousin, Wendy, made the cake. Didn't she do a great job??? It was a Curious George theme. This was the big cake . . . looked & tasted great!

Jax wouldn't open any of his gifts!! He got lots of clothes for summer and had them strewn all over the living room before I got them washed!

Even though he was just getting over his sickness . . . Jax had a great party! Thanks to everyone who helped me and for all of the great clothes. Jax didn't have one thing to wear this summer, but that won't be a problem now!!
His 1 year appointment is next Monday. So no official weight/height yet. But here is some info for my scrapbook . . .
Weight: 23 lbs, 5 oz (1/8/07 at the doctor's office)
Teeth: 10, 11th is coming in (have I mentioned how I hate this process!!)
Words: Mama, Dada, Bye, Hey, No, and tries to call Charlie (says something but it's not quite Charlie)
Favorite book: ABC Animal Book
Other books that he likes to read: Wild Animal touch and feel book, Rusty Robot, Bible book for toddlers, The Very Hungry Caterpillar

Sleep: Goes to bed btw 7:30 and 8:00 and sleeps anywhere from 6:00 to 7:30 when there are NO TEETHING ISSUES!!
Food: Eats everything and drinks whole milk now! Just hasn't had peanut butter, scrambled eggs, or fish yet due to family history of food allergies!
Talents:
- Hides behind the table or chair and calls Mama, Dada to come find him. He does this all the time!!
- Fake sneezes. He makes no sound (although he did say Achoo 3 times one night, but none since then), just throws his head like a sneeze. It's hilarious.
- Shakes his head no or yes
- Holds his finger up when you say one
- Gets his books and looks through them all by himself
- Climbs everything! I took his bumper in the crib out!!!
- Drinks milk in his cup like a pro - said goodbye to formula last week!
- Fake laughs to get attention
- Gives love to everything . . . us, Peep, Charlie, everyone, even kisses one of the robots in his book
- Is VERY attached to Peep and his pacifier
- Made it almost a whole year with no sick visits to the doctor. His first sick visit was last Tuesday! He had a viral infection that lead to an ear infection . . . blah!!!!! I've been so fortunate that it only just happened!
- Takes the saline irrigation like a pro - Thanks Wendy for teaching me how to straddle my child and torture him with this stuff!! :) It helped him so much, that he almost didn't mind it in the end.
