A Wyoming Christmas

Well, when Jax blew out his candles last year...he wished that Grandaddy would take us to Wyoming. I love it when such fun wishes really can come true. Granddaddy did indeed take us to Wyoming. It was the first trip out west for my boys. We used to go every year after Christmas, but we haven't been since 2006 since I was pregnant with Jax. The highlight of the trip was showing our children places that they've heard so many stories about. Jax learned to ski, and did a great job! Gunnar was the most fascinated by the mountains. Ronin got to do a little sledding. However, it was bitterly cold. Our thermometer showed -13 in some of our traveling. The worst part of the trip was that my sweet Ronin got sick. He kept coughing which lead to gag/vomit almost every time. We went to the Beartooth Billings Clinic the first time (an amazing place!), and then to the emergency room the second time. He got the nebulizer treatment which helped tremendously. Watching your kid get a chest xray and struggle to breathe...not fun. All the kids got to take Tamiflu on our little vacation. :)  Great memories.

Snowball fight...Red Lodge, Montana

 Gunnar loving the snow!
My favorite parents :) who have taught me the joy of traveling.

Time for a little sledding and tubing...

This makes me think about going in halves...Daddy will have to explain that one. :)

 A busted tube...

 She loves it!

 Ice skating!

Ronin didn't quite get the hang of it.

We had to stop in the Montana Candy Emporium...so much to choose from. Lots of fun for the kids to fill up their bag.
 More ice skating
 Beautiful moon
